Andrea, I am so genuinely excited for this. It's exactly what I want to watch on a cold winter's night. Put. It. In. My. Face.

Howdy! I'm new here, but delighted to see that this is where all the top level blue sky thinking is happening.

It is exciting. Connecting with people on their journeys. Finding out where they're going and where they've been. Saying I'm not here forever, but for now I'm in Swindon train station and I'm thinking of you. I see you. Maybe that's why.

I've now been doing it so long that people I love send me their pictures of Swindon train station when they pass through. Just yesterday I got one from my aunt, who was on a day out, saying "exciting!" I love the connection it brings me.

It represents the excitement of going somewhere - anticipation being better than realisation. Escape and return. The journey itself being the thing. How we are very rarely London or Cardiff, but are actually Swindon train station. Figuratively speaking.

I do think there's a beauty to it. I like the architecture. I'm a fan. But it's also what it symbolises to me too. Half way to London from Cardiff and halfway home.
