Today, I honor World Aids Day. I do so happily because although we have lost many warriors, we have so many others standing on their shoulders to gain visibility, respect, acceptance, and basic human rights. Today, I chose to honor life, the queer community, and scientific progress!

We went to a Feast for the Animals event at River Haven Sanctuary today. Good food and good people + Lucy was super kind to answer all of our kids and our questions about the background of their furry and feathered tenants. This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for their work!
