Brown Boobies are common here but hard to photograph as they are usually flying close to the oceans surface. I had my underwater camera and was snorkeling when I spotted some at the end of the pier. One was coming in for a landing but the others wouldn’t move because they were watching me. #birds

Haven’t posted in a while. This Pearly eyed Thrasher and myself are on a stand off. He’s determined to get a bug trapped in the slider track but I’m in his way. #birds

Grey Kingbirds chatter a lot when going after insects on the wing. You see them perched a lot ready to launch off for a tasty morsel.#birds

Usually this time of year we can see shorebirds transiting through. It was slim pickings this morning with just two Spotted Sandpipers #birds

Pearly eyed Thrashers are very cheeky birds. If I leave the side door open and leave the room they will hop in and snatch a bite off my bananas on the counter. This one was watching from the wire! #birds

Green throated Caribs get really territorial around hummingbird feeders. I’ve seen this attack Bananaquits if they get too close to his feed source.

The Bananaquits chatter every morning in the palm trees to get us to fill up the sugar so they can have breakfast.#birds
