I have had a HUGE stash of sock yarn from various places for a handful of years, and some do not have tags. I'll be honest, I don't remember where that particular yarn is from. It's a little on the thicker side for sock yarn and very squishy. I do know that it is wool. I wish I knew how to dye yarn

It DID! I had severly flubbed up my counting and...it turns I'm a blind dingbat. My husband pointed out the red markers you had placed in your photos on the pattern, and for some reason I could never see them. But it is smooth sailing now!

It's when u get to these spots here. This is after finishing the first full rows of leaves? It's as much as I could from with this yarn to get to a similar spot. My trouble actually began at step 9

Oof, it may be moment longer, trying to frog to get to the section to show it. I was legging it until I stopped myself because it didn't look/feel right to me.
