Her relationship with her mother reminds me of my grandmother. She sacrificed everything (even her own happiness) to give her children a good life and I found the portrayal of a similar situation ( even bigger in fiction of course) to be very believable and touching

I thought it was a little bit flowery in some parts, but enjoyed it overall. I lost it when he put them in an apartment. I’m still mad at her dad right now.
