Never ever would I have thought that my ideas, preferences, interest would be so detrimental to my being safe in my country of birth. Never has America been great, so very sad, that we're losing our opportunity on being at least good.

The elderly, children, and different abled are always the ones that suffer the most. So sad. We could do so much more for our vulnerable populations.

Also, the doctor is only in the SNF maybe once a week. A nurse practitioner is in maybe 2 times a week. They typically cover 2-4 SNF's. Patients and families often think a doc is in the building 7 days a week. We have primary care doc shortages in the states and its only going to get worse

I've worked in SNF's for 12 yrs. Typically an RN available. Most nursing is done by the nursing assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and resident care assistance. I don't care for OZ, but he's not lying about it being difficult to find RN's that want to do patient care in the SNF setting.

Primary care Doctor's in the states don't typically take vitals. The medical assistant (MA)does. The doc may listen to your lungs and heart, but that depends on what the appointment is for. Telehealth is also used by more than just MD's. OT, PT, Speech therapy and mental health services use it.
