A little stop animation of my inky cap hat to highlight the importance of kindness. Small acts of compassion are powerful - they make a person feel seen and safe, ignite hope, and reciprocally support your own sense that if you are in need, someone will be there to help you. And it’s contagious.

Not only is cottonwood magical for making it snow in the summer, in the autumn you can break a fallen branch and find a perfect star inside

And the pacific blackberry vine is complete! Made entirely of wool fiber and a bit of wire armature. I think it might need a bee or two 🐝

Happily spending my day stitching veins on all the blackberry leaves. I love this detailed, meditative work and I love that it’s only one small part of the process of hat making. Each realm, each step in creation is a world to sink into
