Not gonna defend Amorim massively, but there were signs of improvement this season. Obviously there needs to be struck a balance between accommodating the players and sticking to a system. All out the window now of course

Tbf i think the issue was more that he wasn't going to pip Casemiro/Bruno when the system only had the two central midfielders

I don't want to sound negative, but i am extremely worried for next season if we don't get recruitment right in the summer.

Right decision. I do however fear what next season brings in terms of midfield options with Ugarte not really stepping up to be the midfield enforcer we need. Have to feel it's pivotal that we get the recruitment quality AND quantity we need in the middle of the park

Have to disagree. I'd be more comfortable sitting back, giving Burnley more of the ball and maybe a cheeky set-piece or two. That would never come back to bite us

Would be interested to know, which of the 5 teams above us in the table we are so clearly better than, for 6th to be a sackable offence after one year in the job. Of course we've had disappointing results this season, but some heads have completely gone.

Have to feel it's extremely naive to not play Heaven all season and then put him in the heart of the defense in these types of games. Promising lad but his positioning let us down on multiple occasions in that game. Also, we should have scored 5 goals in the first half alone

One of my main gripes with likes of Shaw. Always feathers it with the outside of his foot, even in dangerous/pressed situations. Puts himself and his teammates under pressure time and again
