It’s difficult to know that a country that I love houses that number of people who embrace racism, bigotry, and misogyny. They voted for him because he gave them permission to say all the disgusting, immoral things out loud.

I bought one of those large Costco pumpkin pies and did like a villain hand rubbing thinking I’d have pie for days. I made the mistake of offering it to others for dessert.
