One thing I haven't seen addressed is that all LLM companies are currently charging very low teaser/loss leader prices. These WILL go up in the near future once the VC subsidy cash is burnt off. Probably by a lot.
I doubt the cash savings will last very long.

You literally have to join the cult the owners are in to get past a certain level of management, so there's a lot of people who have willingly drunk the flavor-aid.

Also they deliberately ran their schedules Sunday-Saturday. So you'd run into OT most often on those most lucrative shifts. This gave them the leverage to push folks to "voluntarily" work other shifts off the clock.
Not good people there.

When I was there, among other things, they would clock out the BOH workers they suspected had less than legal papers when they hit 40 hours. Those folks still had to work the OT. Tipped employees would be told to work off the clock for tips on slow shifts or would be taken off Fri & Sat shifts.

Also the company has had to settle at least 6 class action wage theft law suits in the past 20 years. They don't deserve anyone's money until they treat their workers right.

Is there a name for this class of words that are only narrowly used? The example I'm thinking of is the use of "wreak" that isn't followed by "havoc" or "vengeance".
