I’ve mentioned Carlotta’s a witch many times, but never explained what exactly she can do so here’s a short explanation!

Carlotta is born with an abnormally high amount of magical vitality. Though it caused explosive incidents at first, as she honed her powers, the less volatile it was.

Briar She/her The castellan of the Blood Night Castle. She's the last vampire of her clan, and lives in solitude in a castle that only appears during the red moon. Fond of masquerades, she holds a ball every total lunar eclipse, inviting guests from far and wide. Rumour has it that the Blood Night Castle is a "utopia" where both Sky and Sea-dwellers can coexist peacefully. As promised, here it is !

“Welcome back, young Master.” Lux ignored the servants in the castle, passing through them, without even a glance. As he was about to lock himself in his room, he was stopped by his dear brother. “Hey Lux ~ Come check out my new toy ~” The dark angel grunted. He was younger, so he technically had to follow him in public. But Lux wasn't really in the mood for any of Zagi’s antics. “Get lost…” “You're sure ? That pretty little nymph called me Lux, when I captured her ~ Thought you would be interested ~” Lux’s brows furrowed. Nymph… ? What was he talking about ? Lux didn't know any nymph… Oh… Suigetsu maybe… ? “Looks like I got your full attention ~ Now come, I don't want to wait too long before starting a game ~” Zagi was humming, as he lead the way to the cell of the castle. With a vicious smile on his lips, he knocked on the bars, all the way to a cell a bit further… And there she was. Straight blue hair that looked way too long to be practical. A simple white dress, that was perfectly fitted to her frail silhouette. Two beautiful blue eyes, looking like sparkling sapphires, even when filled with fear. Aelyseria. Her ankles and her wrist were circles with what Lux recognised as his brother's “special handcuffs”. The kind that seals the prisoner's magic, and that you can stick pretty much anywhere you want… The kind he uses on the “toys” he wants to torture in many ways… “So that's supposed to be… This thing ?” Zagi’s eyebrow shot up, under the surprise. “What do you mean ? You don't recognise her ?” Aelyseria had the same expression on her face, but quickly just averted her eyes. Lux didn't know if she really understood the situation, but as long as no link could be made between them she would be safe. “Why would I recognise a stranger ? Like, yeah, she's cute and all, but it doesn't ring a bell.” Lux shrugged nonchalantly, as he watched his brother's face twist with anger and frustration. Then, calm, again. “So you're telling me, if I decide to make her my plaything, it doesn't bother you ?” Lux let out a disgusted face. “I don't want to hear anything about your kinks, weirdo. Now if you will, some of us did work, and need to rest. So have fun, and get off my back.” Without missing a beat, Lux stormed out, to his room. There, his legs gave in. Alive. Aelyseria was alive. He did not kill her. He could feel the tears running down on his cheeks. Was it a sign ? For a second chance ? For him to take the right path ? Or was it a punishment ? A way for the world to laugh at their twisted fate ? Lux didn't know. But he didn't have much more time to think about it. Between the assault, his tumultuous feelings, and this rollercoaster of emotions, exhaustion got the better of him, and he passed out.

“Bartender, a drink, please.” Lux sighed deeply, as he sat at the bar. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing but… he was doing it. He already knew that Bar Misericorde wasn't really a place where he would meet one of his peers, and given the tricky situation he was in, Lux could not help but think about taking a drink. Plus, if the rumours were true, maybe he could come up with a decision he wouldn't regret. Lux felt Liefde's gaze upon him, as he asked him : “Are you sure you want a drink ?” The words resonated in Lux's mind. The way he said it… Yeah. He was at the right place. “Certain. Something bitter, and strong preferably. I'm not in the mood for sweets… Oh and… breadsticks would be lovely, if you have some.” Liefde nodded, and started making a simple blend, for Lux. Then, he poured the deep purple drink in a wide glass. Maybe Liefde would like to hear the troubles of this customer. Maybe it would have been a bit more polite, from Lux, to talk a bit about himself, and why he was like that… “I'm just in a dire need of taking a decision, and fast. And I visibly cannot choose my answer. It's been days, and it's killing me. So I'm taking the easy way out.” Lux snickered. That might be pretty Red of him, to do such a thing. Not thinking about the others, what they thought. And just do whatever pleases him. He just needed a little push, to figure out what exactly he wanted in the first place. Liefde slid the glass towards the angel, and added a few breadsticks on the side. “I see. You seem to be in quite the trouble.” Lux ate a breadstick, staring at his drink. Was he even ready to assume the consequences of his choice, whatever they were ? He grunted. “Yeah, the kind of conundrum where even doing nothing is a choice. Can you imagine ? I can't even sweep this issue under the rug…” He sighed, and took his glass. “By the way, the answer is yes.” “Hm ?” “For the sake of love, I'm willing to take a sip.” At these words, he emptied his glass, bottom up. Okay, maybe drinking that fast wasn't the most brilliant idea. Spending all this time with the very sober and not alcohol enjoyer seamstress took a toll on Lux's resistance to liquor. He felt a bit dizzy, so he finished his breadsticks, waiting for the last of the fog in his mind to dissipate. And then, it was clear. “Hm. That's… pretty nice.” He took a handful of highest value Skeas, and put them on the counter. “Keep the change. As a thank you.” It was way too much, given his order, and Lux knew it. But a certain someone would've been sad if he didn't pay back the stolen inventory. “I know what to do now.” The angel got up, and left.
