Man we are so living in the future. I just had an insanely productive session with AI agent. Code written mostly by the agent and me just guiding it through what I need. It's incredible.

Over Thanksgiving I was talking to the relative about the AI (but of course they brought it up) and they […]

This is a GIANT disaster for #mclaren after the race. How do you have a driver qualify first for the sprint and for the race and come out behind over the weekend?!?!? And now Max is just 12 points away from the first???? insane #F1

I went on a week long vacation and didn't bring a laptop with me. It feels so good to be back at this machine, large screen, and catching up on all of my systems.

I've been so busy with coaching softball this fall. And not one team, but two! Both by accident. The first one from day one did not have a coach when our league formed, so three of us stepped up to share the duties. And the second one, the coach/manager quit half way through. Two teams means all […]

Earlier this month I also finished this book on F1:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/208432397-inside-mercedes-f1

It reads a bit like an infomercial for Mercedes F1 book but it did have some cool insights on the inner workings of the teams. The simulator chapters were the most fascinating […]

Speaking of crypto books, just finished https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/32073021-life-after-google and it might be the most idiotic book I've read that I actually finished. I usually toss those to the side pretty quickly into the book but it was hilarious to read how someone who thinks they […]

I stopped by a business section at the Barnes and Nobles yesterday and was taken aback by how many crypto related books there were. Stock trading, day trading, trend trading, option trading, crypto.... instruction manuals for sheep to find the slaughterhouses :)

My daughter's softball team this summer season is something else. For some reason this group of girls who for the most part didn't know each other from other leagues or seasons, are meshing like crazy.

Stuff like asking for extra practice, lol. Usually it's 2 hours, and they ask to practice for […]

#F1 tv android app update ... scared and excited at the same time. Excited because it has been a bit behind in terms of how it functions with video playback. Scared because f1.com redesign made the site unusable for me. I hope the app is not on the same path.

Oh, and look at these hilarious shots of girls clapping every time the top 3 drivers came into the cool down room. Completely forgot that was a thing in #F1 hahaha so funny. Imagine any sport doing that now? Meltdowns left and right.

Now two races left in 2010 #F1 rewatch, and still crazy to think Weber lost it.

South Korean GP?? I don't remember that at all. Weber makes what has to be a very silly mistake towards the end of the wet race, goes wide, touches grass and spins, hitting another […]

I see so many young kids now just constantly staring and scrolling through reels, tiktok, youtube clips when we are out and about. Everywhere. It's disgusting and extremely sad at the same time. Initially I was wondering how the hell parents are allowing this, but when you notice grown people […]

I am rewatching 2010 #F1 season, there are only four races left and it's kind of unbelievable that Vettel will win the championship. It's painful to watch Webber lose it slowly but surely.

the latest formula1.com redesign is straight up atrocious. I can't tell anymore what that website is. It is now an aggregator of instagram posts mixed with ads and random videos, and an article that is hard to read due to the layout. Eeek ... #F1

Update to my loftyassist product adventure, with a new twist.

At 116 users, 18 paid plans.

New twist? I might be getting hired by Lofty to do some contract work for them. Let's see what the terms look like, but if all looks good, I might be transferring over some of my lofty assist ideas onto […]

The kids gave me this wonderful #book for father's day. Highly recommended if you are #F1 fan. I wish it had more race photos, it's all drawings, but that's all that I could complain about ##nextread

I mean I knew that Musk was a giant loser but you won't believe how pathetic he can get. I am about to be finished reading "Character Limit" and the stories in there are something else. He is a small, damaged, complete loser of human being. wow. So much external power and money, yet he is a […]

This seems like a cry for help from a few remaining honest individuals at #openai:

This is why I do not use their LLMs, regardless how powerful their models might be. We can't have VCs control this technology but so far that's where we are heading. #AI

Today we had our daughter's 12th birthday party. I feel like it was the first birthday party where I could feel that "teenager" vibe around her and her friends and how they interacted and how they celebrated. There is no more "omg let's play we are all together!" careless free play :) them kids […]
