If Schwarber avgs 27+HRs over the next 6 years it puts him at/over 500 for his career. WAR certainly doesn’t look good, but is that particular counting stat enough to get him in?

It’s after midnight for 3/4 of the country on a school night. Maybe the extra runner isn’t perfect, but this late of an ending time isn’t ideal either. It’s causing havoc for the bullpens; it’s going to have a negative impact to teams for games 3 and 4. The cons of this length are starting to add up

There has to be nothing more frustrating as a pitching coach than spending a mound visit and giving the pitcher a plan of attack just to see him throw a middle-middle fastball on his first pitch.

How unfair would it be to worry that Perdomo’s results in 2025 could be a comp to the 2024 Jurickson Profar breakout? Those results came out of nowhere too but in due time ultimately had an unfortunate explanation as to why.

I know their pitching is and has been really good, but these anemic offenses are making them look otherworldly.

No idea how they don’t overturn that, clearly hit two things. Are they saying it hit the hand twice? I don’t get it.

I think this is also due to the increasing athleticism in MLB. Oneil Cruz, Elly De La Cruz, Judge, etc. they’re built like Richie Sexson yet playing key positions like SS and CF. How many players, much less 1B, are built like the Fielder, Ortiz, Howard of old anymore?
