My parents are from Duluth. Both my grandparents were friends with the Staubers. One set of gp were very wealthy. One set were not. BOTH cut the staubers off and forbade us to interact with them. “Those boys are evil”. Circa 1980ish.

We also did not have a peds unit. We did more c sections where the infant was ambulanced over to the West Bank so we could put the mother in icu or ecmo. And that motherfucker accused us of stealing medical supplies

The day after the asshole suggested bleach as an option for treatment we had a direct from the er to the or for an emergent tongue, esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and placement of a feeding tube. We are not a trauma hospital.

I was at the U during covid. The shit that came flying through our OR was devastating. Traumatic. I’ve been in therapy for 5 years since. I can’t do another pandemic. Not with this asshole. I’m leaving nursing.
