#handsoff Protest in Miami with a view of the Freedom Tower, which served as the Ellis Island for the Cubans that fled Castro’s dictatorship. Ironically, the Cubans in Miami have embraced another dictator, Trump. Today we marched to make sure the US doesn’t meet the same fate.

Enjoy when things are good in your life and acknowledge that things will get better when your life turns upside down. In just one week, I need to find a new job and my fur baby was diagnosed with an auto immune disease. She’s not out of the woods yet.

How do dogs know? We’re headed out to dinner and unfortunately we can’t take her this time. Shes freaking out poor baby. They know us more than we know ourselves. #rescuedogs
