Back at the watercolors, here's a hedge maze for the upcoming secret dungeon swap I'm doing. Actually pretty happy with it, we'll see how it sets. I'm going to digitally touch it up and use it as the page background.

Been AFK (AFW?) for a bit, but got the last two panels done here. The lighting in my studio is Not Good but you get the gist.
Goal is to transform these into Dragonbane improvised weapon cards (with a bit.. OK a lot of digital cleanup). First set is the Mage Tower!

OK these are pretty fun. Learning how to mix colors, control flow, and use drying to my advantage.
Feels like another very long journey but I'm really enjoying the process so far.

Post-launch update: I painted an owl.
I've sold 4 copies of Belle of the Bog, 3 of which were my good friends and playtesters. All 30 of the community copies are gone, and I got a 5 star review on Itch.
I got the hardcover proof in the mail. My son likes my book.
So it's going pretty well!

Done with all the art for the Belle. In fact, done with everything but the maps and handouts (and a quick cover touch-up). Really proud of everything I created here and absolutely cannot wait to push it across the finish line.

*Wipes sweat* OK, still going strong on the layout but whew, it's not easy!
About 2/3 done and we're at 50 pages on the nose, so I think I was on the money with the 70-80 page target. It's still looking good, but I'm going to need a 3-4 more illustrations to finish it out.
