Wonderful place! Have been lucky to have a tour there twice with the retired brewmaster. Even got to have lunch with him afterwards this last summer. Very cool to hear some of his stories over the years.

Hot damn, great article! Gotta give a shoutout to the cash only stand that’s a 3 min walk from my house, PB’s Takeout, in Winston-Salem. But they’ve only been there 38 years, so points deducted for not being 40 yet.

They opened the year I turned 21. My buddy (who’s parents opened the great lost bear) brought me there when I came home for a holiday. changed my idea of beer. A mere 16 years ago 👴🏻. Love that place, enjoy!
