I mean, that’s dreaming! I think the major cities are out for the cost of buying, and also, I’m a country gal. We will see. It’s really hard to feel motivated to move if nothing is also forcing one out. Just a desire for a change.

Stockholm is one of my most loved cities - that and Kotor. I can’t convince the other half to move up there… he’s wants sun and warmth. Haven’t been to Bergen, but I like Oslo.

London has always been something else compared to the rest of the country. I went to school there. The wider problem is that social services are in trouble (NHS), trains seem to be challenged, and anecdotally I’m hearing a lack of policing on petty crimes is making that more permissive. But also $$$

Takes like 20 years to qualify for Swiss citizenship… I love the Nordics but would also like to trade up when it comes to darkness and cold…

Yeah, London was a bit like that. It wasn’t cold like we have in Ontario, but it just went through you. Also, they didn’t seem to understand good windows or insulation.

Isn’t the UK kind of falling apart? It wouldn’t be high on my list, no matter how much I love it. The bigger issue is money - not being a billionaire makes Switzerland unlikely. I love Greece, but property values seem high compared the how functional the system seems.🤷🏻♀️ Maybe I’m not moving…
