T.J. Clark's piece last issue on "Trump and the Spectacle" was nail biting, terrifying, and amazing. Highlights, notes on page, notes on paper and I'm still not done thinking about it.

No seriously, describe for me better reading or writing weather than this.

As @georgetakei.bsky.social once said, "The thing about 'snowflakes' is this: They are beautiful and unique, but in large numbers become an unstoppable avalanche that will bury you." 😊

Show me a picture of your book and your dog (or cat, hamster, parakeet, etc.). 💙📚

This is Hewson the Weimaraner with my book The Salzburg Executioner. No way I would have finished my novel without him.

Excited to see other furry or feathered friends and books. 😊 #BookSky

Early in my process of writing ‘The Salzburg Executioner,’ I sent a text to a friend describing the plot. They responded, “Ooh, I like it—mainly because it sounds like a story ChatGPT couldn’t write.” To say the least, I was struck (and mildly insulted) by the comment. (1/3)

We live in a world of endless scrolling, ceaseless updates, and silent suggestions. Yet, at some point, our minds need respite, truth, and honesty.

My psychological thriller, The Salzburg Executioner, is now available. I believe it is timely and relevant warning against the dangers of manipulative algorithms. And it serves as cautionary tale for many of the reasons people are switching to @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app

I come back to this one often. When I can’t sleep, you’ll find me repeating the last stanza.

I am an American living in Austria. One day I posted a photo wearing this t-shirt (on a different platform). Another author commented, “this is not the shirt you want to wear in this country. Because unlike America, Austria has only one banned book.”

The top headline in Germany’s Die Zeit newspaper immediately after the US election was as bold an attempt at conveying truth as I’ve seen in a long time.
