I can't imagine the Linux community ever embracing rootkits for the sake of optional entertainment. It's pretty much antithetical to the reason Linux exists in the first place.

@gog.com - do you even understand who your customers are? We buy DRM-free games because we want to support artists, not to see their jobs taken away by companies using stolen asset slop.

I'm pretty confident in my ability to spot most AI music on YouTube, but I don't want to risk giving some talentless hack even a single view. Good to know I can stick with OCR and not have to worry.

Maybe someday we'll be able to move on past the jokes and actually hold Nintendo accountable to providing professional patch notes like other major organizations manage to do.
