The Drag Queen of Science Fiction.

Published in Departure Mirror Quarterly and The Limerick in Chains. Shopping a great anthology if any of you publishers aren't scared of drag...
There, see? Already more interesting!

There's relatively little risk of it getting less interesting. New accounts aren't famous for being must-reads out of the gate. But we are in rehearsals for a reading, so exciting things are happening.

When in doubt, write a drag queen, I always say.

Of course, I don't expect anyone to listen when I say that.

Your Black friends who are telling you Renee Good was not the first and won't be the last?

Listen.

Your Native American friends who are telling you that your government has been treating them this way all along?

Listen.

This is the voice of the resistance.

Now, Imma say that again for the people in the back:

LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE NOBODY IS LISTENING TO

They are the voice of the resistance.

It does look like a less expensive option than buying both wired and wireless if you need flexibility. I was pricing out Regular Old Mics in case the singers can't punch out over the tracks for our reading, so it would be overkill for us.

Neat, but overkill.

Overkill does fit my idiom, though…

I was just now on Sweetwater's site looking at mics, and I've still never heard of such a thing...
