When it seems like the world is going to hell, it's easier to write from Izadelle's perspective. Given her general disdain for humanity and glee at watching it perish. Here is an excerpt from her journal, in the story that I will someday complete.
Story snippet. "Humans insist they are at the top of the food chain—the ultimate apex predator. And yet, they truly are nothing more than bleating sheep. They are surprisingly easy to manipulate despite their crowing about free thinking and personal independence. Anger and fear are excellent motivators for their limited intellectual capacity. Their inability to see past it, to flock together with others of like mind further feeding those negative emotions, reduces them to naught more than milling cattle. Granted, even the lowest of creatures will eventually lash out when they become overstimulated. However, this is easily channeled towards others of their own kind; others deemed…lesser, rather than at that which stoked the hatred to begin with. It is almost too easy, how eager humans are to rip apart their brethren. They feed themselves poison and hate, nearly from birth, forever guaranteeing the perpetuation of the cycle. Been busy making stuff over the past several days. Got two more of the Daisy Whimsy necklaces, in light and medium amber, done. Along with some new earrings. The daisy earrings are medium and dark amber. Ran out of light amber drops. I should have more in tomorrow though.
