Back in may 2008, when bloor bike lanes were just a dream, I attended bells on bloor and took a few random photos. Do you recognize anyone #biketo?

It’s late but a pal posted a picture of the northern lights so I tried to go see but I think the show is over. My phone *thinks* it might have seen someone on this 30 second exposure but I’m not sure what we’re looking at.

There’s a little shop in Toronto called Dowtown Sewing and I learned rolled hems at their serger basics class and I think my pup likes his new bandana.

The Junction Triangle is impacted by construction that is simultaneously blocking the Bloor bike lane, the Dupont bike lane, the Dupont sidewalk, the railpath northbound and the railpath southbound. There is a new path that was promised years ago under the Barrie line which has not yet been started.

Compare a Copenhagen regional rail track installation site to a Metrolinx doing what seems to me to be a similar project.

I was in Copenhagen this summer and spent a day at the workers museum. I was particularly moved by the temporary exhibit on women’s lives. www.arbejdermuseet.dk/en/

Local volunteer run DIY shop (Bike Pirates) helped me. Brake pads and cables were fine just needed to be tightened. I also sprung for a new chain. Including parts and donation I spent $45 and about 30 minutes of my time.

The zipper is open on all of these. Based on the dust clouds these things produce I wonder if this bypassed the filter and aerosolizes particulate from the road?

This was 2016 but on Nike campus which is about a 20 minute drive away. Similar bikes but I think they had some kind of digital lock so they weren’t locked up.

I’ve played a competitive contact sport with trans and cis women. It was like… normal? Nobody was more aggressive or too fast or whatever. We all had to work hard every game regardless of who was playing.

And then today took the pup to the off-leash at cherry beach. Good views for a dog park!
