Absolutely this .The U.K. has lost most of its traditional old pubs .A sad decline in our history .A high percentage have been bought up & converted into massive luxury pads .We Will never get them back .

Grievances voiced by many of these farmers seems to be that they are ‘asset ‘rich but income poor .Anyone else sitting on equity running into millions whose chosen career or business is not profitable have to face reality .Downsize ,cash in assets & find a new business model .They aren’t subsidised.
