It's hard for sure but being able to talk to others and not feel so alone has improved my mental health significantly

My oncologists nurse practitioner actually said she doesn't usually recommend them when I told her I was in one, but for me it's been worth it because I felt so alone before and I was having panic attacks. It's been so comforting talking to others and my mental health has improved significantly.

I have really young guys in my support group for testicular in their 20s. I'm 34 and when I went to the urologist he told me it was an old man cancer and didn't feel comfortable treating me so he sent me to Vandy. I'm glad he did in hindsight bc my case ended up being weird.

I get cat scans and chest X-rays for my check ups but I have panicked over a medical procedure before and had to be calmed down to get myself to go through with it. I dont like needles in my spine. 🤢

I'm pretty positive the reason my family has so much cancer and diseases is from a lot of generational trauma and poverty.I got a really good job this week and I can finally see some light out of it,like I might finally be able to breathe and maybe not have a heart attack or stroke in my 30s lol
