It was Liza Minnelli’s birthday the other day which made me think about Cabaret (1972) and Weimar Republic Berlin. So I did a drawing of her.

Princess Yuki from Kurosawa’s The Hidden Fortress (1958) A4 foil print I made today.

I love this film, mainly for Toshiro Mifune but I love how Yuki is such a fierce, brave Princess like the Star Wars character she inspired, Princess Leia.

Worked out how to make a three colour foil print today so I’m pretty chuffed with myself.

A4 Catwoman drawing with foil. I tore the paper which is annoying.

I’ve been experimenting with toner foiling and whether using paint, marker etc is affected by the laminator. Turned out alright I think.
