Angel has someone he can relate to now, he’s gained a friend. It’s literally a confirmed slowburn, and I personally don’t see anything wrong with the way it is being paced in an 8 episode (20min each) season. Their friendship is frankly beautiful so far, and that’s all it is right now. Friendship. 🤷‍♀️

How can you even say anything about pacing issues when there hasn’t been anything indicating it’s actually shipped? It’s simply a confirmed ship that WILL eventually sail. You can dislike it as much as you want, but nothing about it is forced lol.
