I love Patton Oswalt, but I’ve also been on the receiving end of the wood-chipper “joke” just for being trans enough that I can’t be too upset at him getting a temp suspension for making this comment. It rubbed me the wrong way when I saw it and I’ve wanted right wingers to get something similar.

He doesn’t actually have the authority, thankfully. It would be up to district courts if the members to determine if their position had been “abandoned”, so this would take a while to pan out I think. I imagine the reps that fled knew that so this is mostly hot air.
