It me, I'm the console gamer eyeing the steam machine.

Though *really* I could just attach my laptop to the tv - I don't know why I'm considering a whole new device

The game I just playtested relies on the subtle but impactful distinction between words like "horse" and "pony" and I didn't realize that it's a real possibility that players might not be able to play it due to poor reading skills.

My heart hurts

Pretty regular use of script change editing tools like pause, zoom in, fast forward etc. The folks I play with often have some experience in theatre so editing the scene for dramatic flavour or to calibrate for folks' comfort is pretty normal

Oh, yes, one of the things I was testing was how spare I could make the framework, but I def spent hours with a thesaurus to get the most bang with what I included. I'm pretty pleased it worked

Ok, done what I planned for the day. As long as I keep reminding myself this is a playtest and I don't need polished player materials, I should be good to go.
