I'm a passionate advocate for early childhood education, and when I'm not managing the chaos at home, I love spending time at the theater and devouring any books I can find.
A widowed mother and her daughter move into her fiancé Kirin's updated family home for a fresh start. Scout struggles to let go of her father’s memory and discovers a doll linked to Kirin's late sister. A sense of danger looms, making it a decent, quick read with a creepy premise, but not scary.

What a wild ride! This book really makes you rethink your next trip to Ikea. Greer Hendrix has a knack for creating suspense and twisting reality. It's a clever blend of horror and humor that keeps you on edge. I am never going to Ikea again.

Something strange is happening with magic, leaving The Villain's manor vulnerable to enemies, including the king. Now, Evie must protect The Villain's lair and his secrets. Unfortunately, this book was a letdown. It dragged on & I almost didn't finish it. I'm hesitant about reading the 3rd.

Wealthy Manhattanites at an astrology retreat where hidden resentments lead to a shocking death. Margot is relatable, juggling a tough job and family issues. The setting is dreamy, and the twists kept me hooked. My only gripe is too many characters, but I’d love to visit The Astrology House!
