Got som more work in on the cod yesterday, feel it need to be a bit darker in colour, but not too much.

Anyone wanna see how a Christmas parade with boats look like? Ok, well here are some pictures:
A photograph taken from a boat, of boats. There is a row of boats, mostly sailing boats, but with lights on their masts instead of sails. The boats are on a fjord, going from their winter lair, and going into Vågen in Bergen. The photo was taken when they are sailing from the Puddfjord, and have passed under the Puddefjordsbridge. Its just after 6 PM so thee skies are dark, and all the lights are from the boats and the city behind them. A photograph taken at nighttime, showing a Christmas parade in Bergen, Norway. The parade are made up of boats! There are several boats in the photo, some are docked, some are making up the parade. The two sailing vessels are both in the parade and have been decorated with chirstmas lights. The UNESCO world heritage site of Bryggen is in the background.

Got my camera out today to take some photographs of some of the Kusudama I have been making in the last few weeks. I was planning to take more product photos, but I enjoyed taking these shots too much! Hope to take more photos in the days to come.

They wanted to be Isha from Arcane! So EVA foam has been purchased and a whole tube a glue has been used. #arcanecosplay

As my Birthday is in a week, I decided to get myself and early present: "Billeder af Norges Natur og Folkeliv", a book from 1875 with lithographs, and text in three different languages, Norwegian, German and English. How cool is this book!?
Scan of the the "contents" page in the book. There are three columns. One in Norwegian, one in German and one in English. Chromolithograph depicting a Wedding parade going through the forest. The groom is on the left side of the picture on a horse, looking back at his bride on a horse behind him. She is wearing a traditional Norwegian wedding crown. The right part of the picture has the rest of the wedding party. And party is the ley word here. I could write a book about what everyone else is doing... Chromolithograph depicting the harbour in Bergen during a night. The moon hangs beside the mountain of Ulriken. Two men ar on small boat, heading out to the fjord. First edition, large oblong book in maroon leather, with the title in gold. The title reads: Billeder af norges natur og folkeliv. Around the title, there are borders in black and more gold leaf. Beautifully done. Book is a bit worn, but that is to be expected from a book that was printed in 1875.

Where does one even begin with that?
A screen-cut I did from a Facebook post from Gizmodo reading: Shein Uses Likely AI-Generated Luigi Mangione to Model Shirts. The picture under the text is of a smiling man in a terrible shirt and some might say he looks like Luigi Mangione. The post has 50 likes, 5 comments and 5 shares. ...and one screengrab on bsky.

Finished this piece today, and of course, I had to scan it... Its always hard to scan a piece where I use shiny paints, but the scanner also KILLED the hot pink. Anyone have any tips? What version look better? #artistproblems
Painting of a fish with big fins, dont with acrylic inks. The colours are bright, golden paint was used for the areas that would naturally be darker. The version on the top was a photograph of the painting, the bottom version is the scanned version. The scanned version is ROBBED of the hot pink and the gold looks flat. The photographed version has a darker background and is mor un-even.
