I finished reading this book that's about the missing person case The Yuba county five. It was insightful and informative. I highly recommend it to those of you interested in this case or missing person cases in general. #yubacountyfive

This is a book about women all over the world who have experienced war and the aftermath. Personal stories of their traumas. I recommend it but only if you can deal with such topics as rape (from infants to the elderly), murder, abduction, war crimes, human trafficking and all levels of violence.

I got 'The never ending story ' as my last book for last months blind date book event! And I think it was my favorite yet! I highly recommend it. For being geared towards children it delt with a-lot of sensitive and serious issues.

Wiley pupdate: it's been about a week since he's been adopted. He loves people, is curious about other animals he sees and has proven to be potted trained!
Sapphire update: she's been doing good. Last week she was a bit constipated and I'm thinking of getting her some different food to try.

A local comic shop has a charity event where you draw comic book covers to donate. Anyone can buy tickets that then get put into whatever comic book cover you'd like to win and that money goes towards the charity. It's not completely accurate but I think I did well enough!

This was a remarkable book. Not only did I not know about this horrific chapter in my states history, but I learned so much as a result of reading this book. I had a hard time putting it down. It was a good read with lots of pictures.
