Prove it. The way women are described can be tip off, is their boob size and attractiveness the center of their description? How about pleasure? Not all romances have this of course, but how does the author describe it? Is it male centered? I love your question!

Interesting question! A lot of queer romance is written by men, so yes I do. But I think you are asking about hetero romance, so my question becomes, can I tell it's written by a man? That's not entirely fair, men don't own misogyny and there are plenty of books in my DNF pile written by women to 1/

Yes, extreme control. No magic, no romance, no queers, no evolution, no sex, no violence. Which is weird, cuz I did have to read the Bible and all of that stuff is in there. So I kept a lot of my reading hidden 😉
