unconditional platonic love is underrepresented in media and the few examples we do have are usually either ignored or oversexualized by fandoms and it's a little upsetting because the most important relationships in my life are all friendships

i think there's this disconnect for a lot of people where they can't envision someone who is capable of horrific crimes also being capable of genuine emotion. they NEED their bad guys to be complete sociopaths who can't feel love for anyone but themselves. but that's just not realistic.
