Day 6: taking our first break for the day! 3 km walked, 8 to go. Apparently there's gonna be a shower at the mountain station we're camping near tonight, so I've got that to look forward to ✨

The entire walk was pretty pleasant, and we made it to our stop by 2. We came from Sylarna today, and tomorrow we're making our way back to Helags. Also, we're apparently only about 10 km from the Norwegian border right now!

Day 5: a rest day + taking a shorter route back was definitely the right decision. I slept really well tonight and felt ready to go once we started walking! Took a slight detour around the huge hill we climbed two days ago so we didn't have to climb it again, which helped a lot.

ALSO: so far we have seen reindeer, sheep, cows (who were apparently just hanging out at the parking lot by the start of the trail), one (1) frog, and a dog wearing saddlebags.

Tonight we're camping just below the snowy patch to the left in this photo. This is my first time doing something like this, so while I'm kind of nervous about whether or not my body's gonna hold up I'm also really excited!
