I sold CCTV for 32 years. Cameras do NOT reset. In fact, today’s digital cams are watermarked, so you can tell if it’s been tampered with. They aren’t like holograms on our paper money, they are numerical, so the security camera manftr would be able to assist in getting that metadata.
