When my grandma passed 5 years ago, I was given her Christmas Cactus (could be a Thanksgiving one). It was big and bold and all that is left is in the terracotta pot :(

This week, I picked him up and clipped his toes. My toes can now go through the night without death claws at 2 am. Wimbly was not impressed.
Treats helped sooth his fluffy soul. Toes to grow back for more midnight pounching at a later date.

Once in my life, I wanted to be a marine biologist. So going to the coast fills my inner geek. Yesterday, I hit paydirt (literally) at the beach. Found an intact seal carcass! Covered in sand. Tue kid in me was very happy. Still a shark (the ultimate goal), but still better than broken shells!
