My child is not going easy on Santa this year 😂 where do you find a book of Christmas carols? And that Santa plushie has to be in his sleigh? Santa will not be able to fulfill all of this but will try to get a few things 😂

My 2nd grade class received book swag mail today! They were so excited! We read Betty Builds It by @juliehampton20.bsky.social and then opened our special package of goodies! Each student received a bookmark/ruler, 2 stickers, and a super cool pencil! We made packets of the worksheets too. 😁

I asked my daughter to get me a little bowl of ice cream with a little bit of toppings and this is what I received 😂 you can barely see the ice cream. It was way too sweet for me 😂

Today I taught our 2nd graders about Memorial Day and why we do not have school this coming Monday. We then had a great discussion about our own connections to the lesson. We followed this by making cards for my teacher friend's Pop who is going on an Honor Flight soon and would love cards.
