So I sprinkled a pinch of them on the soil and put a clear cover on it on Thursday and today I have an actual seedling! Now the guessing game begins. VBG :-)

You know how when you store your seed packets in a zip-lock sometimes errant seeds end up spilled into the bottom? Well, I was in my decade-old bag this past week and decided WTF, let's just plant them.

By only 14 minutes I met the deadline for this latest 24-Hour Short Story Contest. One gets a required max word count and a brief set-up and then it's time to make oneself crazy trying to write a winning story.

Both of my "Lemon Cream" amaryllis are sending up a THIRD blossom stalk. This is practically unheard-of! (Just thought I'd post a teeny bit of "happy" for you all.)
