She was raised in scientology, but distanced herself as soon as she was able. Leah Remini did a documentary on scientology, it paints a good picture as to why celebrities don't trash them publicly.

The difference is, Kurt was a founding member of Nirvana. Chester came to LP in 1999, and the band was already established at that point. Mike wouldn't have agreed to a rebirth if he thought it would discredit Chester at all. I think he would have wanted things to go on like this, tbh.

Her with the world. The new stuff is still quite similar because Mike is still the primary writer. But it's got its own personality too. Emptiness Machine and Heavy is the Crown go hard for me.

At first I was full stop against Emily. But learning about her, I think she's the best fit. She grew up learning from Chester, she taught herself to sing/scream with his music. She has always said she knows she could never replace him, but wants to honor his legacy and share everything he taught -
