Ol' silverhaired blue-leaning NorCal gal w/a borked brain & cranky bod.. she/her.. hugs trees & loves the ocean & makes pretty things & loves fiercely & is equal parts enraged with/overwhelmed by the state of our country.
I love that! I'd love to find something like that in a book sometime. I had a cat named Max Wedge in the eighties, so there's longstanding precedent in my world for naming things after MOPAR engines. :)

Meds and an Olympic level of masking.

It's one of many moments that we whites have to own what our people did/do to you. We shipped your people here like livestock, treated you like animals as long as we could, and have kept you under our boot - literally, at times - ever since. It's horrific. There can be no fond memories of that song.

And the answer is... *drumroll* *rolls the drum back*

Dorian Hawkmoon was my first fantasy book (of many now) back in 1983, and it was over when I found Elric.. MM is an absolute god in my world, and I'm sincerely thrilled af for you. :)

Oh. My. Gods!!!!! *runs around like a sillyperson on your behalf* Wow!

I make songs up in my head to the sounds/rhythms. Asked the tech who did a long ol' full spine MRI on me if he'd ever been asked for a copy of the sounds to use in making music (that scan was seriously a banger), and he said yes. I love that. :)

I adore the glowy Maris. ❤️

That's remarkable. You have the prettiest history over there. ❤️

I concur across the board. It gets worse than spineless, though; I have the traitorous swine Panetta. *insert colorful language here*

Every three months? Holy guacamole, that's a lot. The sheer amount of often-very-unfun things disabled folks have to do to their bodies just to get them to function as 'normally' as possible would stun healthy folks. Holding space in the suckitude of it; this is one of the unfun ones. 😥

Thank you, sane neighbor to the north. ❤️ Apologies for my countrymen.. I got nuthin' as far as they go. I'm no fan of the idiot king in the WH, but not everything on earth is his fault. I mean, clearly my spilt coffee earlier was his doing, but.. 😆😉

That's fascinating!

It's something to behold, when a group of people really jive together. :)

How heartening!! ❤️

I believe the correct answer is yes.

Haha, as do I! Isn't she precious?? My son lives in WA so I only get to visit her, but she loves me & was reportedly salty at him for a couple of days after I left for making me vanish lol.

Isn't she ridiculously cute?! 😍 Happy to have provided a reminder, though I get no joy from knowing we'll both be slogging through forms, ugh. Wishing you comfort & peace this week; imagine anyone who annoys you getting a good swat on the nose w/my rolled up medical history. 😁
