For Sirsi Symphony at least it’s a setting that the patron can set (and was disabled by default atleast in my instance)

I haven’t tried recently but you’re likely still able to use Win+G (iirc it’s finicky about what it’ll target though)
the native Mac tool is definitely more intuitive

notably the native tool does seem to produce much larger file sizes than a recording out of obs

iOS has a feature called vehicle motion cues that has helped me with car motion sickness related to device use- google is expected to release a similar feature for android at some point in the future but currently there’s an called called KineStop that allegedly does the same thing

Obviously depends on what you need it for (eg if you wanted to run something that Mac can’t natively you’d need to factor in parallels or some other vm into the cost) but the base M4 Mac mini is likely one of the better values (that goes out the window once you start upgrading storage or ram though

hdmi doesn’t include the timing signal that display port needs ; this makes it relatively easy to go from display port to hdmi but the inverse requires a powered adapter

They had the oasis for a while which had buttons (I’m not entirely clear whether they were capacitive or not) but that model has unfortunately been discontinued but it seems like they’ve gone back to purely the ones that turn the pages via swiping
