I don't have a Burger King in my part of the state - if I did I would be trying to score some of those paper crowns to mail to the White House.

Open the class by saying "Due to new guidelines, I have a list of words I can't say & topics I can't address. Failure to follow these guidelines (look at notes) can result in my immediate dismissal. Then every time somebody brings up something on the list, hold up a sign like this. Obedient-ish.

I wonder if somebody in Congressmen Eric Burlison's ( R. MO) social media team is secretly rooting for our side? Probably not, but couldn't resist the opportunity to take advantage in the comments section.

I refuse to destroy my life by spending every minute worrying about the current chaos in our government. I will still walk my dogs without my phone, and I baked a great cake yesterday. Today I'll be back at making and sending postcards to my elected officials, but my brain can only handle so much.

This FB group's post was where I found the clearest and most comprehensive explanation of the whole thing. I'm too old for that style of music to ever become a favorite, but now that I've seen the reveal on some of the layers of complexity in this performance, it's fascinating to read about.

On hold with Social Security. "Your wait time is anticipated as greater than 120 minutes". After 45 minutes, still no update on "new" wait time. Occurs to me - technically, NEVER is greater than 120 minutes. Do they actually answer the phones? Anybody?
