So by default I never trust "open source" projects that are made or backed by companies.

And also this is the reason I have invested my energy in AWS SAM, Cloudformation and CDK. I see no risk here that AWS will start charging for these in the future. #aws #cloud #iac

I would say that "I told you so". It was obvious to me years ago that these companies cannot build these tools for free. And then there's the risk of either a changing license, start charging more OR becoming irrelevant.
