My father, guitarist George Barnes, was a member of AFM’s Chicago Local 10-208 from 1933-1951, then New York Local 802 from 1951 until he died in 1977. He’d be proud of his union for standing up on behalf of his fellow musicians, and against the insane tyrant currently inhabiting the White House.
