Yes!

it's really about efficiency - I don't want to have to get up multiple times if I can just have everything I need within reach.

It's a real challenge with my computer desk having 2 monitors, a LOT of USB devices, and meds/vitamins/snacks.

good news though, I will be publishing a new blog on Friday that I'm sure some of you will quite appreciate.

just letting it percolate another day or so but I believe it's done.

It's not even a laptop, the keyboard is wider than (or just not aligned with) the screen, to me it looks like an iPad with an external keyboard plugged in. I don't know much about her but I don't imagine she uses an iPad.

I disagree, I do think they have basis in fact/reality, but I agree that 'the right social situations for neurodivergent people' are harder to come by.

But some people genuinely get energy from social company and others genuinely don't.

Someone on YouTube did a video about this and proposed exactly such an expanded scale.

I'm on mobile in transit or I'd dig it up for you.

This is my cue to go and watch Panic Room for the 16th time 😂 (not 16th time this week, but I have watched that movie an absurd number of times over the years)

New shows take energy, which I often don't have to spare.

It's a shame because there are a lot of good shows I just haven't been able to watch because it's too energy intensive to get into them.

I don't disagree!

My best guess: since cis/straight people can also be autistic, it's in their interest to care about that because it directly affects them.

Seems to me that self employment solved a LOT of my problems. It created some too, but solved a lot more.

If we were taught in school how to become entrepreneurs instead of just loyal little cogs in the machine, a lot more of us would feel fulfilled.

I'm mostly on LinkedIn now.

Feels weird to say, but turns out when you're connected with actual interesting humans who aren't just trying to get their next corporate gig, it's actually a fun site.

If I still used twitter, I'd post this over there as well, but to heck with that alt-right/nazi cesspool of a website.
