You may do this already. But leaving EVERY notification off helps a lot. I started it mostly because I hate random noises going off all the time. Then found myself forgetting to even grab it when I leave the house.

I shutter the thought of stirring a dead mouse though... My god the massacre if using an electric drill with a stir attachment.
