I don’t know if it’s my all time favorite (that’s too hard to pick, and I can’t think of all the books I’ve ever read right now), but favorites from what I read last year: Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver and Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr.
