That’s terrifying. I think some people just get wealthy enough they lose their humanity, and I think anyone could do so even if they’d like to think they wouldn’t (I’d be curious to know where the tipping point is; we’ve researched how much money you have to make for peak happiness)

I’m convinced 1/3 are full MAGA, 1/3 know it’s wrong but are benefitting from it too much to care, and then 1/3 are terrified to speak out.

Trump is rageful (which every emotion he has filters through as rage, FWIW), probably scared, paranoid, and feels betrayed. He likely sees his world crashing down around him (not -THE- world, mind you; he doesn’t GAF about that), and is now using some kind of defense mechanism where he says, (2/3)

President Trump and his goons were happy to inflict maximal pain on people and our economy, while throwing extravagant parties and wasting enormous sums to turn the White House into a gaudy palace. Everyone saw that.

So he doesn’t deny thinking he deserves a crown, but his displeased that it’s so small. Okay.
