Here’s my confession: I’m not a reader. I’m a writer who fell in love with what stories could be rather than what they already are.
I admire language the way some people admire lightning—dangerous, bright, and never meant to be contained.

I live somewhere between a grindhouse and a ghost story.

By day I run a small used-book shop online and at a booth inside the Heritage House in Portland, Tennessee. Every shelf there has a story, every spine a conversation with someone who still believes in holding a book instead of scrolling past one.

I wrote Tico Goes to School under the pen name Flaco Sol—a children’s book about courage, belonging, and the quiet bravery of first days. It’s part of a larger dream: building an indie press that celebrates curiosity and human oddities, one story at a time.
